What we collect

Nickname (optional): whatever you type; shown publicly next to your feed.
Winner message (optional): shown publicly if you pop the guy.
Payment data: handled entirely by Stripe and PayPal. Card numbers and wallet data never touch our servers. We store only a payment reference, the amount and the tier purchased.
Technical logs: standard web-server logs (IP, user agent) kept briefly for security and abuse prevention.
Online counter: your browser generates a random session number so you can be counted in the live "online" figure. It identifies a browser tab, not a person, and expires within minutes.
Spam-click prevention: free snacks use a short-lived, anonymised network fingerprint (a one-way hash, raw IP addresses are never stored) purely to detect automated mass-clicking. Normal players, including groups sharing one connection, are never affected, and entries are deleted within a day.

What we don't do

No accounts, no marketing emails (we don't collect email addresses), no selling of data, no advertising trackers.

Cookies and analytics

The game itself sets no tracking cookies. Your nickname, theme choice, sound and music preferences, cookie and purchase-consent choices, past wins and the free snack timer are kept in your browser's local storage and never leave your device.

With your consent (the cookie banner), we enable Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which parts of the game people enjoy. If you decline, analytics stays off and no analytics cookies are set. You can change your choice at any time via the "Cookies" link in the footer.

Third parties

Stripe (stripe.com/privacy), PayPal (paypal.com/privacy) process payments. Google Fonts serves the typefaces. Google Analytics (policies.google.com/privacy) measures traffic, only after you accept the cookie banner.

To have a nickname or message removed, email contact@yolodingdong.com with a link/description and we'll remove it.
